Integrity of the Word of God
Key Scriptures:
Matthew 12:33 (KJV) “Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.”
Psalm 19:7-9 (MSG) “…God’s reputation is twenty-four-carat gold, with a life tie guarantee.”
Colossians 3:16 (KJV) “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom…”
John 6:63 (KJV) “…the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”
” To live that supernatural life, it’s not enough to be born again. You have to grow your faith.
To do that, you must train your mind in the word of God. God’s word says, “Let the word of God dwell in you richly.” How do you let the word of God dwell in you richly? It is through giving time to it. You’ve got to put the word in you, even when it is inconvenient. For example, play it in your car on your way to work. Sometimes it not enough to just play Christian music.
The world tells us that experience is the best teacher. It is not. The Word of God is the best teacher.
The word of God teaches us the importance of the words we speak into our lives. John 6:63 says “…the word that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” Are you speaking words of spirit and of life? The greatest gift God gave us is the ability to speak words. Therefore, speak words that are life, every time.
Words are substance. Words don’t just go away. Words are not idle. They don’t seize to exist. In the spirit realm, there’s no forgetfulness.
Did you know that your life is a result of all your words put together? In the spiritual realm, you are the summation of your words. You didn’t get to where you are now over night.
The word of God is light. Under different light, we have different realities. Therefore, your life depends on which light you are operating under.
The only things that can destroy words are words. If you find yourself in a certain predicament, it is not because of your parents or your circumstances. It is because of your words.
You can take charge of your life with your words. The word lets us know that death and life is in the power of your tongue.
Therefore, you need to renew your mind and start speaking right. Kings reign by their words. Start straightening your life out by your words. Otherwise other people will.
Excuses is what guarantees you are going to remain where you are. Excuses keep you under.
To begin speaking the word of God, you must be full of the word of God. Mediation drives the word of God into your spirit. Don’t meditate on other people’s negative words.
So, when life gives you questions, you answer with God’s word. Speak the word. Don’t react but respond with the word. Everyone is always thinking about something constantly. Even in our sleep, we are thinking.
You’ve got to grow your faith. There is no other choice. Be encouraged, remember there was a time when Pastor Chris was at our faith level.
If you don’t build your faith, you can’t do much with it.  You have to be trained in the world. You have to grow your faith big.
Only when the word of God becomes your mindset, will you begin to live it.  Therefore, the first ingredient necessary for change is your mind.
At work, I saw a poster that said “What got you here won’t get you there.” How very true! What got you here, can only keep you here. It can’t take you further in life.
You can’t reap where you have not sowed. When Jesus taught us this principle, he wasn’t just talking about finances. We’ve got to sow the right words. You speak your way to greatness.
Psalm19:7 let’s us know we can bank our life in the word: “God’s reputation is twenty-four-carat Gold, with a lifetime guarantee.”
Don’t get too comfortable. You’ve got to put more of God’s word in you. So keep pressing on.”
